How to get to Pinja?

  1. Starting point: Velika Planina cable car’s base station (location: 46.30533077570222, 14.608958899670634)
  2. Take the cable car from base station to the top station.
  3. From the upper gondola station, continue along the road to the right of the concrete stairs leading to the chairlift. Follow the road for about 650m, to the left turn (north). Follow the road for about 650m, to the left turn (north).
  4. Here you leave the main road and turn left onto the cart track, which takes you to the first huts in 300m. Pinja hut is the first hut on your left.

You can download the route to your computer or smartphone and use it to navigate to the Irenca chalet. Many apps support importing GPX tracks (a.k.a. Google earth, ViewRanger, GPX Viewer, Geo tracker,…).PX Viewer, Geo tracker,…).

House rules

Dear guests, in the chalet there is a house order for the well-being of all guests. Please consider it.

  • No smoking in the chalet. Smoking is allowed outside, the embers are extinguished in the ashtray.
  • Please close the front door and do not leave the hut unlocked. You open them with the key you received – so always keep it with you when you leave.
  • The chalet is fully equipped: bed linen, towels, kitchen utensils, utensils and basic necessities for food preparation (salt, pepper, sugar, herbs). A cleaning cloth, sponge, detergent and wipes are available for cleaning. The cottage is equipped with toilet paper and garbage bags.
  • The use of slippers is mandatory in the chalet.
  • Please pay attention to water consumption, as it does not come through pipes from the valley.
  • Tap water is not drinkable.
  • Use all appliances in the cottage according to the instructions for safe use and care for the equipment as a good master. If you cause intentional or negligent damage, you are obliged to reimburse it.
  • If any failure occurs, notify the landlord immediately.
  • In the event of a fire, follow the fire regulations and find out the location of the fire extinguisher in advance.
  • Upon departure, guests must wash dishes, remove waste, clean the stove.
  • The landlord is not responsible for your valuables and money located in the chalet.
  • The tenant undertakes to compensate the damage that would be caused to the landlord.
  • You use the chalet and inventory at your own risk.
