Kočna cottage is located just below the summit, in the heart of Velika Planina, and offers accommodation for 6 people.
The interior of Kočna is among the more traditional. Wooden furnishing makes it homey and comfortable. There is a bunk bed for two people in the living room on the ground floor, and low beds for four people on the upper floor. It also has an equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a shower.
Electric heating ensures a pleasant room temperature. For even greater comfort and a more romantic atmosphere, you can also light a fireplace. You can enjoy your morning coffee in peace and tranquility in a fenced outdoor area with a beautiful view of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps.
In the area, there are many hiking trails, viewpoints with beautiful views, a ski slope, and organized sledding activities. You can indulge in traditional cuisine in the nearby mountain lodges or visit the cultural/historical pastoral settlement, where you can try indigenous dishes and refresh yourself with fresh milk during the summer months. During the summer period, there is also a snack bar “Sladki kot” nearby where you can find a variety of delicacies and souvenirs.

Kočna cottage’s location is unique as it is located on the edge of the eastern and western sides of the mountain, only 10 minutes walk from the Zeleni Rob inn (the first stop of the Velika Planina chairlift) and 15 minutes from the cultural/historical pastoral settlement.
