How to get to Luxury Chalet & Sauna Kati?
You can reach Velika planina only by cable car and chairlift from Kamniška Bistrica valley. Chalet Kati is on 1460 m above sea level, so we recommend you mountaineering equipment – warm clothes and shoes for hiking!
- Starting point: Velika Planina cable car’s base station (location: 46.30533077570222, 14.608958899670634)
- Check in at the reception, buy a cable car ticket and pick up the keys of the Chalet Kati.
- Take the cable car from base station to the top station.
- From the upper gondola station, continue along the road to the right of the concrete stairs leading to the chairlift. Follow the road for about 150m, at the crossroads turn (north) and follow the roads that leads into the steep woods. Follow the road to the end (two turns).
- Luxury chalet Kati is found on your left side at the end of the road.

Food & Drinks
There is a wine cellar in the chalet, where basic food and drinks are available. They are available at an additional cost (food contribution).

House rules
Dear guests, in the chalet there is a house order for the well-being of all guests. Please consider it.
- No smoking in the chalet. Smoking is allowed outside, the embers are extinguished in the ashtray.
- Please close the front door and do not leave the hut unlocked. You open them with the key you received – so always keep it with you when you leave.
- The chalet is fully equipped: bed linen, towels, kitchen utensils, utensils and basic necessities for food preparation (salt, pepper, sugar, herbs). A cleaning cloth, sponge, detergent and wipes are available for cleaning. The cottage is equipped with toilet paper and garbage bags.
- The use of slippers is mandatory in the chalet.

- It is forbidden to go upstairs in the master bedroom in shoes.
- Please pay attention to water consumption, we gather only rain water collected from the roof.
- Tap water is not drinkable.
- Do not install new applications on smart electronic devices (iPad, TV,…), do not log out of pre-installed user accounts and services, do not log into your own user accounts and services or change any passwords.
- Use all appliances in the cottage according to the instructions for safe use and care for the equipment as a good master. If you cause intentional or negligent damage, you are obliged to reimburse it.
- If any damage or failure occurs, notify the landlord immediately.
- In the event of a fire, follow the fire regulations and find out the location of the fire extinguisher in advance.
- Upon departure, guests must wash dishes, remove waste and clean the stove. It is prefered that guests take the trash to the collection point (in the designated shed, which is located halfway from the Kati chalet to the top cable car station).
- In case of strong wind please keep the windowfolds in the upper bedroom closed. The landlord is not responsible for your valuables and money located in the chalet.
- The tenant undertakes to compensate the damage that would be caused to the landlord. You use the chalet and inventory at your own risk.
