How to get to Irenca?

Luxury chalet Irenca sits in the heart of Velika Planina.

  1. Starting point: Lower cable car station below Velika Planina (location: 46.30533077570222, 14.608958899670634)
  2. At the reception (a small wooden house in the yard), check in, pick up the keys to the Irenca cabin, and buy a ticket for the cable car.
  3. Take the cable car up to the upper station.
  4. From the upper gondola station building, continue on the stairs to the lower station of the chairlift (2 min) and take the chairlift to the next station (Zeleni rob).
  5. Continue to the Zeleni rob inn – 3 minutes walking down the road (watch for the trail markings along the way). From the inn, continue north along the road, which will bring you to the Tourist Village in 5 minutes, where you will soon spot the charming Irenca cabin on your left.

You can download the route to your computer or smartphone and use it to navigate to the Irenca chalet. Many apps support importing GPX tracks (a.k.a. Google earth, ViewRanger, GPX Viewer, Geo tracker,…).

Food and drink

In the challet there is a wine cellar, wher you can get food, drinks and top of the line wines.

The pricing is available online or on the sheet in the cellar.

House rules

Dear guests, in the chalet there is a house order for the well-being of all guests. Please consider it.

  • No smoking in the chalet. Smoking is allowed outside; cigarette butts must be extinguished in the ashtray.
  • Please close the front door and do not leave the chalet unlocked. Lock it with the key you received – so always keep it with you.
  • The chalet is fully equipped: bedding, towels, kitchenware, utensils, and basic food supplies (salt, pepper, sugar, herbs). For cleaning, you have a cloth, sponge, detergent, and dishcloths available. The chalet is stocked with toilet paper and trash bags.
  • In the chalet there is a wine cellar, where basic food and drinks are also available, accessible for an additional charge (contribution for food and drinks). In the cellar there is a poster with a list and the amount of the contribution for each food item and drink.
  • The use of slippers is mandatory in the chalet.
  • Entry into the main bedroom in the attic is prohibited while wearing shoes or slippers.
  • Please conserve water, as we only have a limited amount of rainwater collected from the roof.
  • Tap water is not drinkable.
  • Do not install new apps on the smart electronic devices in the chalet (iPad, TV, etc.), do not log out of the pre-installed user accounts and services, do not log in with your own accounts and services, and do not change passwords.
  • Use all devices in the chalet according to the safety instructions and take care of the equipment as a good caretaker would.
  • The tenant undertakes to compensate the damage that would be caused to the landlord.
  • If any malfunction or damage occurs, please report it to the landlord immediately.
  • In the event of a fire, follow the fire regulations and find out the location of the fire extinguisher in advance.
  • Upon departure, guests must wash the dishes, remove the trash, and clean the stovetop. Guests should take the trash to the collection point (a designated shed located halfway between the Irenca chalet and the Zeleni rob inn).
  • In case of strong wind, please close the shutters on both windows in the upper bedroom. Strong wind can damage open shutters.
  • The landlord is not responsible for your valuables and money left in the chalet. You use the chalet and inventory at your own risk.
